A wonderful vine with many uses! The Star Jasmine can be used as a groundcover, hedge plant, or can be trained to cover walls, verandas, trellis, or any other support, making them a very popular choice in gardens. The flowers have also long been used in the manufacturing of perfume, and are also an important ingredient in authentic Thai Jasmine rice. They are best planted in a well drained soil in a sunny spot, although they will tolerate partial shade. Prune them frequently to keep in shape, and water well during summer. They also do well in pots, but limit water during the cooler months.
