A wonderful vine with many uses! Variegated Star Jasmine can be used as a groundcover, hedge plant, or it can be trained to cover walls, verandas, trellises, or any other support, making it a very popular choice in gardens. The flowers have also long been used in the manufacturing of perfume and are an important ingredient in authentic Thai Jasmine rice. It is best planted in well-drained soil in a sunny spot, although it will tolerate partial shade. Prune it frequently to keep it in shape, and water it well during summer. It also does well in pots, but limit watering during the cooler months.
