Snowflakes are easy to grow, hardy, and makes an interesting addition to those shady parts of the garden where it is often difficult to find plants that flourish. They work well in pots and containers given the soil provides for adequate drainage.

Plant bulbs in autumn in a semi shade or shaded spot, about 5 - 8 cm deep. They are then best left undisturbed for a few years, after which they can be removed, divided, and replanted.
