Hardy, drought resistant, and a great addition to any garden! Dymondia or Silver Carpet, as it is commonly called, comes from coastal areas of South Africa and forms dense, spreading clumps that resembles a carpet if left with enough space to multiply. During most of summer, they bare yellow Daisy-like flowers. Dymondia take some time to establish themselves after being transplanted, but once the deep roots have taken hold, they grow quickly. They are often used by landscapers, and work extremely well to cover those open spaces in between stepping stones, as they can tolerate some degree of traffic.
