Indigenous, wetland, perennial, grass-like rush. Often mistaken for Juncus effusus, but has thinner and slightly harder foliage, and is also much rarer. Does best in moist areas, but will also do well in drier soil if it is watered on a regular basis. A popular choice when creating gardens with a wetland theme, and are often planted near streams or ponds, where they create that natural looking landscape.
