One of the best known plants the world over! The Crane Flower, as it is often called, is an indigenous gem, and every garden should have at least one clump growing in a sunny corner of the garden. They are best left to grow undisturbed for about 3 years before dividing the large clumps. They are hardy once established, but in areas that encounter severe frost, it is recommended that they be planted in a protected spot, or covered with frost guard. Makes the perfect focal point plant, and they work very well in large containers or pots out on patios.
